ProofVault respects your privacy and collects only the data needed to operate the service.

- uploaded documents and images
- record metadata
- account settings
Automatically:
- usage logs
- device/browser info
- error reports
Payments: Payment details are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.
3. How We Use Data
We use data to:
- operate the app
- store and display your records
- send reminders and alerts
- manage subscriptions
- provide support
- improve features
- prevent abuse
4. No Sale of Data
We do not sell personal data. We only share with service providers required to run the app:
- hosting
- storage
- payments
- email/notifications
5. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure. You use the service at your own risk.
6. Data Retention
- Guest data may be auto-deleted quickly
- Account data is stored while your account is active
- Deleted accounts are removed within about 30 days unless legally required to retain
- Backups may persist temporarily
7. Your Rights
You may:
- access your data
- export your data
- delete your account
- request correction

8. Backups & Recovery
We may keep system backups for operational reasons. Deleted data may remain in backups for a limited time and may not be immediately recoverable.

ProofVault is not intended for users under 18.
